  • Newman Primary Choir on Tour

    Published 12/12/25

Today was a truly special day for the Newman Primary Choir, as we took our music on tour to a local care home. πŸŽΆπŸ’›

Our young singers have been working hard this term, and today they had the chance to share their voices beyond the school grounds. From the moment we arrived, the residents greeted us with warmth and excitement. As the choir began to sing, you could see faces light up across the room — smiles, tapping feet, and even a few happy tears.

What stood out most was the genuine connection formed between the children and the residents. Music has a special way of bridging generations, and today was a beautiful reminder of how powerful that connection can be. The performance was incredibly well received, and the children left feeling proud, energised, and inspired.

A huge well done to our choir for representing Newman Primary with such confidence, kindness, and joy. And thank you to the care home staff and residents for welcoming us so warmly! 🎀✨
